![]() Mimic This
is a guide to how Mimic works and who it should be taught to. Mimic has
10 PP and 99.6% accuracy. Once used you have 10 PP of one of the
opponent’s moves for the rest of the battle. Mimic is TM31 and can be
learned by every Pokémon except Magikarp, Caterpie, Ditto, Weedle,
Kakuna and Metapod. It should be taught to a Pokemon who has good
Special and Attack so that no matter what move it is, that Pokémon will
be able to deliver it powerfully. All of the Pokemon below are Pokemon that can use Mimic reasonably effectively. Some Pokemon like Snorlax and Magneton who have higher averages than some of the Pokemon here, have not been included because, although one of their stats is incredibly high, the other is weak. A Magneton is not going to be able to produce a good Earthquake is it? Athough Mimic can be an excellent move, it may not be very good on some of the Pokémon below. That is why some of have been highlighted in red, basically meaning that although one of their stats is pretty high, the other may have cause for concern.
