Getting
to Glitch City

Go
into the Safari Zone and say YES that you want to catch Pokémon.
Walk around for a little bit, and then try to leave Safari Zone.
When he asks you if you are leaving early, say NO. It will make you
walk back into the Safari Zone.

Leave
again, and once more say NO. When you go back into the Safari Zone,
save your game and then shut it off. Turn it back on and go out of
the Safari Zone.

This
is when the first glitch appears. Instead of asking you if you want
to leave early, he asks you if you want to join the hunt. When he
asks you this, make sure to say NO again.

Walk
out of the house and FLY to Cinnabar Island. SURF up and down the
coast until there is the gong you usually hear in the Safari Zone,
although it may take a while. The game then warps you back to the
Safari Zone and the man asks if you had a good haul and so forth.

Leave
the building, and when you go outside you are in a strange Glitch
City.
Note:
It is very easy to get trapped in here, and the different glitches make
it hard to move around. Some things to try are fishing, SURFing, and
trying to find new paths. Just remember, nothing is what it seems. This
trick does not appear to ruin any other part of the game. If you want to
get out of the city, you must FLY out and save.

Fixed some bugs here and there. The screenshots were deleted from the
server. Sorry, I don't really want to play R/B/Y now and I'm too lazy to
take the screenshots.

Some people e-mailed me questions about Glitch City so I've added a FAQ
section. There's not much interestingly new but I have found out that
you can surf on some areas of the ground. You can walk on water too!
Most people should have found these glitches out by now so I'll just
have to say this is the end of the Glitch City Guide, it might be
updated if there's something spectacular found in this place.

So far I haven't found any special Pokémon in this city, there's no
Exeggutors or Dragonites. It's so easy to get trapped so I always had to
FLY out and do this trick again. I have SURFed and fished in some areas
but I've only found regular water Pokémon (Staryu, Tentacool, Goldeen,
etc). There's a rumour that you can catch Mew in this place. So far I
haven't seen any grass patches in this city so you can only fish or
SURF. You can also try to use FLASH or STRENGTH to see if there's
anthing special near you.

I can't cut the bushes, there's no patches of grass and how do I get
out?
A. Yeah... you can't cut the bushes for some strange reason and I
haven't found any patches of grass and the only way to get out is to use
HM2 FLY.

Any other way to get to this 'Glitch City'?
A. There are loads of other ways to get here but I haven't tried it out
yet.
